All American Road Trip
Embracing the history and heritage of the Holiday Inn brand, the idea for the great American road trip was hatched. Utilizing projection mapping on billboards located in resort destinations allowed us to innovate on the concept.. Above is one of my early illustrations.
Projection Mapping
The idea of projection mapping is to take the experience a step beyond just using projectors. It allowed us to make an inanimate object come to life. This surprised and delighted spectators by adding an unexpected layer that caused them to pause and wonder, how did they do that?

Living destinations
We wanted to tie in this classic American road trip by ensuring we stopped along the way at some of the popular resort destinations for the brand. Each of these oversized postcards were printed and installed on-site. Then using projection mapping, we added an extra layer of animation to breathe life into each stop.

A Peak inside
At the end of the road trip, the family arrives at their own vacation villa. In the windows of the villa, two scenes were displayed. Mom and Dad are having a relaxing movie night while the kids play in their room next door. This promotes that the HICV villas have multiple rooms while allowing families to have quality time with each other.
